White Rose Park’s approach to ESG isn’t bolted on. It’s embedded in three decades of decisions made by Munroe K, from the £100m invested in the park’s development to the 240 kwp of solar panels installed in the last two years alone, with a further 1,000 kwp planned.
Every building upgrade, every landscaping choice, and every supplier relationship is measured against its environmental and social impact.
biodiversity improvement per annum
waste diverted from landfill
kwp solar PV installed
green tariff electricity
100% sustainable green tariff electricity across the park. All site lighting converted to LED.
25+ EV chargers.
1,000 kwp solar PV installation planned to build on the 240 kwp already in place.
A target of 20% biodiversity improvement every year, delivered through on-site bee hives producing WRP honey, wildflower meadows, bird boxes, bug hotels, hedgehog boxes, and produce and herb gardens maintained across the park.
On-site gym, fitness studio, football pitch, outdoor training park, and Starbucks. Wellbeing and prayer rooms. Secure cycle storage and EV charging. 9 junior football clubs train here in winter. The park is designed around people, not just buildings.
Every building at White Rose Park is designed to minimise its environmental footprint. The ABC Building has been refurbished to EPC B with 1 Monroe Court and Building 3 both achieving a target of EPC A, featuring electric VRF heat recovery heating and cooling, LED lighting with PIR and daylight sensors.
Across the park, EV charging points, secure cycle storage, and direct cycle paths to Morley and Leeds City Centre make low-carbon commuting practical — and the White Rose Railway Station opening in 2026 will remove over 343,000 car journeys annually.
All of our waste is recycled at source and 100% of waste is diverted from landfill through a comprehensive recycling and waste management programme. The park’s operational approach prioritises reduction first, reuse second, and responsible disposal as a last resort.

The Munroe K team are always willing to go the extra mile. From day one, we’ve felt part of the community at White Rose Park. It wasn’t on our wishlist but all of the on-site events and activities such as yoga, PT at the gym and 5-a-side football have really made a positive difference.
White Rose Park proves that a thriving business environment and genuine environmental stewardship aren’t in conflict. If ESG matters to your organisation, and to your people, we’d love to show you around.
